I’ve been at home for a couple of days, which has given me a lot of time to sit around and think about eating. Think think think. The products I’ve been using seem to work: they are not horrid tasting, and they really do give me a feeling of being full. The occasional salad and apple have been welcome too. I’ve been able to cut my insulin down from 46/26 (protophane/novorapid) to 18/8, which is freaking amazing.
So, even though I’ve been sitting around, a bit bored, I still seem to be on the wagon, at least for today. A preliminary look at the scales seems to indicate I’ve lost a few kilos too, but the proof of that comes when I go to the official weigh-in at the dietician clinic next week.
